  I have always come to this nursery to get plants and advice on gardening. The staff always super friendly, and I really never had a bad experience in last five years. However, today was different. I picked up some onions, peppermint, tomatoes, and Swiss chard. Quite a lot too. I was asked if I belong to a church, to which I responded yes. We made some small talk, and then she said that she's going to give me all of my plants for free as long as I donate a portion of whatever I think the plants are worth to a ministry at my church that is struggling. I asked her why she was doing and she said, why not? I was blown away by this gesture of humility and compassion. I have never experienced this before and was quite surprised.
